5/29 article: “It’s About Place”

This piece looks optimistically at the power of the creative class and its potential impact on cities (like Detroit) and communities across Michigan in need of a little economic/community umph.  Great ideas, but very concentrated.  Not to mention these are isolated projects initiated by artists and designers not natives of the communities and hypothetically happening without plans for longer-term sustainability.
